The UndeadGhouls, zombies, vampires ... many cultures have a concept of the dead who rise to walk among, interact with, feed off of, or attack the living. These might be creepy, comforting, amusing, or frightening, depending on your outlook.   
This time, our goal was to write a fifty-word story involving those "neither living nor dead".

RainRain: gentle drizzle, torrential downpour, pounding, driving, misting the earth. It patters on glass, drums on rooftops. It smells fresh and clean.   
Things look different in the rain. Colors seem brighter, the sky, gray with clouds. Puddles appear.
